The Drake Hotel

I love this place. Definitely off of the beaten path (a 10 min. cab ride to downtown) but the private collection of original, modern art makes this funky property worth the trip. Rooms are cozy, with quirky touches and unique furnishings. Think hipster-meets-boutique. The bar is a popular gathering place for locals, and the food/soundtrack match the eclectic surroundings. The hotel is a focal point for art, culture, music and food and their general store has some seriously original gift items.
