Sonoran Hot Dog Back At Big Star, For One Day

If the tacos al pastor and guac aren’t doing it for you these days, on Tuesday, March 7th, Big Star is bringing back its Sonoran hot dog – for just one day (gee, did they happen to hear The Feed Podcast yesterday by any chance?) It features a Vienna Beef dog wrapped in bacon and topped with pinto beans, lime mayonnaise, mustard, serrano sauce, tomato and onions piled high and served in a traditional bolillo roll ($7). They’ve also added a pair of beverage specials for the occasion: the Pancho & Lefty (Schlitz 16 oz. and a shot of bourbon – $6) and Five and Dimer (house-spiced cider bourbon sour – $10). The Sonoran Hot Dog will be available while supplies last from 11:30 a.m. through dinner service.
